Toddler Fun

"Is Everyone Ready for Fun?" by Jan Thomas will have the toddlers giggling with glee. Three rather large cows decide to have fun by jumping, dancing and wiggling on chicken’s sofa. Chicken becomes more and more frustrated as the cows have more and more fun. Chicken finally explodes but the hyper cows have one more idea and everyone agrees.

Have you ever seen a bear in long underwear? If not then you need to read "Bear in Long Underwear" by Todd Doodler. Toddler friendly activities proceed once the snow has stopped falling at bear’s house. The activities include sledding, making snow angels, and building a snowman. Bear’s friends decide that the snowman needs clothes. By the time bear is done dressing the snowman, bear is down to his long underwear. None of bear’s friends have seen long underwear before and they want some!

"Time to Say Bye-Bye" by Maryann Cocca-Leffler is a sweet story about the struggles toddlers experience when leaving people, things or activities. The toddler goes to the park, Grandma’s house, and then home to play, take a bath and go to bed. When it is time to leave the toddler gives farewells to the sandbox or grandma or toy parade. The final farewell of the day is goodnight to mommy after reading stories and cozy cuddles.
