uld you do if you met a dinosaur? The young protagonist in “Suppose You Meet a Dinosaur: A First Book of Manners” by Judy Sierra knew just what to do-- be polite. The story is that of a well-mannered dinosaur and young pig-tailed girl as they do their grocery shopping. And as we all have experienced, occasionally unpleasant incidents do happen while shopping, such as knocking over all the apples or the shopping basket running into someone’s shin. If you are well-mannered when incidents happen you say “I’m sorry” or “Excuse me” even if you are a dinosaur.Tim Bowers illustrations are big, bright and funny. The dinosaur is large, green with purple and white spots, pink spectacled and carries a small basket for her purchases. For a good chuckle be sure to look at the items in her basket.
