"Savvy" by Ingrid Law

In "Savvy" by Ingrid Law, The Beaumont family isn't exactly what you'd call normal. When her Poppa gets into a terrible car accident and her mother and eldest brother rush to the hospital in a different town, Mibs' birthday celebration gets cut short. Believing that her new savvy could save her Poppa's life, Mibs, along with her siblings and the preachers' kids,  sneaks a ride to the hospital on a rickety pink bus full of pink Bibles. The plan is flawless until the bus starts heading in the wrong direction.
