I think we can all agree that baby animals are adorable. Even the youngest of people love baby animals, and your youngest people will love learning about the first days of different animals in "My First Day" by Steve Jenkins and Robin Page. Each page features a different detailed paper illustration of an animal baby with a few short sentences about their very first day on earth. "On my first day, I made a splash! I could swim and dive when I was just a few hours old (capybara)." This book is great for preschool to second-grade readers and pre-readers.
