Maybe you have never heard of a dwarf zebu. I hadn't until I read this book! A zebu is sort of like a cow, but with a hump. This book tells the true story of Bubbles, and her amazing journey from India to our very own St. Louis Zoo. Bubbles is different from the other animals, but that's what makes her so special. Carolyn Mueller wrote and illustrated the book and has a special connection to Bubbles: she's one of her zookeepers. The story is simple and illustrations are cute and colorful, making this book a great choice for children ages 3-6 and fans of the zoo.
